XhoI restriction site
XhoI recognition site, a six-base restriction enzyme site with the sequence 5'-C^TCGAG-3', originating from Xanthomonas holcicola. It is cleaved after C-1 by a type IIP restriction endonuclease leaving 5' sticky ends.
